Scripture Prayers For Our Every Need
This year I am going to post scripture prayers every month. You may print these out as you need them for your loved ones or yourselves. My prayer is that as we pray these prayers that God's Word will go forth from His mouth and not return to Him void (empty, without fruit), but it shall accomplish what He pleases, and it shall prosper in the thing for which He sent it. (from Isaiah 55:11).
Most of these scriptures prayers were written in 2001 when I was staying close to the Lord after my Mom died of cancer.
Scripture Prayer for When we Need Hope
Father God, I thank You for Your promise to us for a hope and a future. Your Word declares that Christ in us is the hope of glory. It is not Your will for us to live in discouragement and despair. I pray that when we are discouraged that You will fill us with Your hope, joy, peace and faith so that we will abound in hope through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Help us to hope continually and praise You more and more. Your hope is the anchor of our souls. It is sure and steadfast.
I praise You that You are always with us. You will never leave or forsake us. We can hope in You because You are our Father and God. I pray that we will even now rejoice in You as You fill us with hope. In the Name of Jesus, Amen (So be it)

Scripture Prayer for the Good Shepherd to Lead and Guide Us
Good Shepherd, thank You for leading and guiding us. Keep us in Your tender care. Be our Rock of Refuge and Shield of Defense. Make us secure and protect us. Keep us and our family and friends safe. Be with us wherever we are. Help us to walk in Your light at all times. Be our personal Lord, Savior and Friend. May we stand in awe of Your love for us. Help us to come to know by experience that we are hidden in Christ and in Him we live and move and have our being. Because of this our needs are met. In Jesus' Name I pray and thank You for Your will to come to pass in our lives. Amen (so be it).

Scripture Prayer to be People of Character and Integrity
I thank You, Father that we are people of godly character and integrity. I ask now that You will strengthen our character even more than it is now, enabling us to conquer every temptation we face. Help us to be true to what we know is right and give us the ability to walk in integrity of heart.
You, Father always provide a way of escape from life's temptations so we are enabled to bear up in the face of testings and trials. Keep our souls, Lord. Let integrity and uprightness preserve us. May we learn to wait on You more. Help us to see that the issues of life spring from our hearts and as we think in our hearts so are we. Give us more of Your grace to keep our hearts with all diligence.
I ask you to help us to be a faithful men and women who are just and filled with the integrity that comes from You, Father. This is my prayer for us, In Jesus' Name, Amen (so be it)
Scripture references - Genesis 20:6, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Proverbs 23:7, Proverbs 4:23
Scripture Prayer to Not be Conformed to this World
Father God, I pray that our lives would no longer be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds according to Romans 12:2. I pray that the Truth (Jesus) will set us and others free from worldly thinking (John 8:32). I intercede that we will daily put off our old natures and put on the new man, that is renewed in knowledge according to the image of God Who created us (Colossians 3:8-10). I also ask that we would set our affections on things above and not on things on the earth. Help us to focus more on Jesus and what is true, honest, pure, lovely, of good report and of all that is excellent and praiseworthy (according to Colossians 3:2, Hebrews 12:1-2 and Philippians 4:8). May You always be glorified in our lives and in the lives we influence. In Jesus' Name I pray, believing this will come to pass because Your Word never fails to accomplish what it is sent to do in and through us. (Isaiah 55:11). Amen (so be it!)

Prayer and Confession of Protection and Power for a Born-Again Believer
In the name of Jesus I apply His blood between us and all the power of the enemy. I also apply the keeping power of Jesus over our families. 1 John 5:8 says that the blood is one of three witnesses on the earth; together with the Spirit and the water. The blood of Jesus speaks (Hebrews 12:24).
Father God, You have already made us partakers of the inheritance of your holy ones (Colossians 1:12). Satan, you may try to dispute this and seek to keep us out of this great inheritance but I intercede that the witness of the blood of Jesus speaks and declares that Jesus already has bought our inheritance on the cross and that it is all ours. I know that You have delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of Your Beloved Son (Colossians 1:13).
Satan, when you try to use your power over our soul and body, I call for the blood of Jesus to speak to God, our Father for us and declare the truth. Jesus Christ has fully delivered us from all your power, Satan, so that you now have no authority to put sin, sickness, pain, disease or whatever would hinder God's peace in us (Isaiah 53:4-5). Jesus came for the purpose of destroying your works, Satan (1 John 3:8). You may try to put some of the curse on us or keep us from getting rid of some of the curse, but now we know and trust in the witness of the blood of Jesus which testifies that He has redeemed us from the curse, set us free from all of it all of it (Deuteronomy 28:15 -68) when Jesus was made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13-14)
It is the blood of the new covenant, the pledge that we have all that is promised in it and that Satan, you can't keep us out of any promise of God. I now once again call on the witnessing blood of Christ to testify that Jesus has bought everything promised to us in the new covenant and His precious blood was the price that He paid.
Satan, you may try to overcome us but as we pray now we take you to Calvary where the sacred blood of Jesus brings your power to nothing. I magnify the blood and the Lamb of God Who shed the blood. I give bold testimony to the power of Jesus' blood which is working in behalf of us and for any other brothers or sisters in Christ that His Spirit leads me to intercede for. In the mighty Name of Jesus I pray. Amen (so be it) , Hallelujah!
