Before you read the songs and poems many have shared I want to share my favorite singer with you. Ralna English has inspired my life not only with her God given talent but by her love for the Lord and how she shows His love to so many.

Here is her web-site link -

 http://www.ralnaenglish.com

I encourage you to get her music or see her in concert.

Ralna English

The joy and love of the Lord always shines so beautifully through her.

I was blessed to hear her sing in Charlotte, NC when she taped her PBS special, Ralna English: From My Heart which was first aired around the world in March, 2007.

Here is Ralna and I together. What an answer to prayer, dream come true and thrill of a lifetime!!!

God bless and keep precious Ralna!

The Storm

by Heather Llewellyn from Texas

As the storm grows over the horizon,

I stand is awe at it's magnificence.

As I close my eyes and feel

The wind as it blows through my very being,

 I stand in Peace.

Over time, the storm draws closer.

I feel the shaking of the ground,

And I hear the roar of the thunder.

As I close my eyes,

I feel the rain

Falling upon me,

As the clouds role in.

And I still stand in Peace.

The storm is here!

I feel the gushing wind pushing and pulling me.

I feel the pounding of the rain,

And, I, ever so strong, feel the pounding

Of the lightening as it hits beside me.

And I still stand in Peace.

You, Oh Lord are my calm in the midst of life's storms.

I stand on You alone,

My Rock!

For You are the One who cleanses me

and makes all things new.

Even through the mighty storms that

Come in life

I will stand on you because You never change.

You are my PEACE!

Dance With Me

by Kathy Yates Quidley from North Carolina

Composed by the Holy Spirit

September 30, 2002

Come and dance with me, my Love.

Dance with me Love, my Desire.

We will flow together,

As we dance the dance of love.

Come and Dance with me, my Love.

You take my hand,

I place my hand in yours.

You are my Love and we will flow together.

As we dance the dance of love.

Let us flow as the music plays,

Dancing cheek to cheek.

You twirl me once and then twice

As we dance in Love, My Lord.

Yes, we dance in Love My Lord.

Our Hearts Cry

by Linda-Sue Bigler from Tennessee

Our hearts cry to know You, Lord

We bow our knees, our souls we pour

For you're the Potter, we're the clay

Make us Lord like You we pray

Our hearts cry to know You, Lord

Our hearts cry to trust You, Lord

In our strength we lose the war

The battle's Yours, Your name we praise

By Your Spirit the standard's raised

our hearts cry to trust You more

Chorus:

To know you, trust You, love You more

To know You, trust You, love You Lord

Our hearts cry to give You more

Our hearts cry to love you, Lord

You call us, we can't ignore

That Jesus is the Bread of Life

Abide in Him, be free from strife

Our hearts cry to love You more

Listen! Hear! His heart cries too.

He longs to commune with You.

By His Spirit to make us One

In His Love, His will be done

His heart cries to love us more

Repeat Chorus

God Painted Me a Rainbow

by Donna Davis from North Carolina

God painted me a sunrise, how bright the sunrise shined

Warmth replaced the cold and dark, recessed corners of my mind

He painted me a sunrise, the fears of night just fled away

For the fear of the darkest night, was replaced by a brighter day

God painted me a rainbow, how beautiful the hues

Vivid, lovely colors, as I gazed my hopes renewed

He painted me a rainbow, when all seemed lost and drear

Thru tear filled eyes, I realized, His love was ever near

God painted me a sunset with red and orange highlights

Yet in my memory, the sunrise and rainbow still shined bright

He painted me a sunset, and dark night again shall be

But the promise of His loving care, makes the rainbow real to me

Love Song of God

by Roberta Jackson from Wisconsin

Sore buffeted by hell's dark force

Sore ravaged by life's din and throng

I lift my voice to Heaven's Source

And listen for my God's love song!

With exquisite ethereal voice

He with unearthly beauty sings

I, filled with ecstasy, rejoice

My spirit soars on angel's wings!

He takes my hand, and then we dance

We move to His celestial song

A song of true love and romance

My heart with rapture sings along!

His words transcend the mortal mind

His melodies the mortal ear

And when He holds me close, I find

Within His arms I lose all fear!

His liquid love o'erflows my soul

Caresses and stirs my heart within

We intertwine--become one whole

He's mine, and I belong to Him!

God's Presence

by Alison Lehto from Oakland, Maine

I feel God's Presence in every song-bird's note

Hidden in our little feathered friends' throats

I feel God's Presence in times of worry

And wonder why we humans always hurry

Seldom taking time to smell God's flowers

Or even reflecting on His mighty powers.

In an age where one can easily see

All that we know can cease to be -

A sudden push of a nuclear button

Will slaughter us like sheep turned to mutton

Why is it we humans tend to bicker

Even when our candle of life has only a flicker

Too often, too late we feel remorse

Wishing our life had followed a different course

I feel God's presence when Michael Crawford sings

"And He will raise you up on eagle's wings."

Onto the sands of time of God's love

I look forward to being with Him above

Beyond the reach of our immortality

Lies our destiny enfolded in His charity!

Lord, You Set My Pace

by Linda-Sue Bigler from Tennessee

Verse 1:

Today I seek Your face, Oh Lord and listen for Your heart

I will to walk in Your way to be purified, set apart

Joyous tears now Lord express my love

My devotion is sincere

Your Kingdom come from up above

Jehovah Shammah, My Lord You're there

I sing a song unto You Lord and kneel beside my bed

This seems a small return oh Lord for when You died and bled

You promised to love me forever

You are praying for me now and You sent to me the Comforter

To You I humbly bow

Chorus:

I see more of Your beauty

You are awesome to behold

I'm Your soldier on duty

My mission is three-fold:

I will worship in Your presence,

I will witness of Your Grace

I will teach Your truth and righteousness

Oh Lord, You set my pace

Verse 2:

And now I ask my greatest want though others have such need

If You bestowed no more gifts for this I still would plead

I want more of you, My Father; to hide beneath Your wing

For worldly wealth I wouldn't bother

You're my Portion, My Everything

My heart is overwhelmed to see Your Glory and Your Power

I wait for Your return, My King like dry land thirsts for a shower

Holy Spirit, keep filling this vessel though my "temple" may sway and quake

I cherish Your inner stirrings, Your presence asleep or awake

Repeat chorus then verse 3:

Glory, to You Lord of all, You chose me though I'm weak

I answer to Your holy call

I patiently search and seek

For You are the only answer for the loss of love and hope

So when I see a lost sheep drowning, I'll throw him Your rescue rope

Second chorus:

And He'll see more of Your beauty

You are awesome to behold

He's Your soldier on duty

His mission is three-fold:

He will worship in Your presence,

He will witness of Your Grace

He will teach Your truth and righteousness

Oh Lord, You Set His pace

And we'll see more of Your beauty

You are awesome to behold

We're Your soldiers on duty

Our mission is three-fold:

We will worship in Your presence

We will witness of Your grace

We will teach Your truth and righteousness

Oh Lord, You Set Our Pace!
